Intended to integrate the concept of social networking with human emotions, the new cellphone employs biometric technology to sense and share the true feelings to ensure a better communication among users.In recent past, social networking has emerged as a popular medium, especially among gen-next, to interact with friends and associates and discuss their day-to-day or business activities..

Making the most out of the new trend, designers are working on different portable gadgets that promises a better platform for social networking not only within the our walls but on the move as well. The "Blackberry Empathy" by designer Daniel Yoon is an identical phone concept that apart from regular verbal communication also enables the user to go through the activities and updates of their friends, while reading the emotional state, using a biometric ring, of the wearer.Imagine sharing your feelings not directly, but via the ring we mentioned. How cool is that? BlackBerry Empathy connects the user straight away to sites like FaceBook and MySpace for quick messaging and status updates. The device also comes with proximity sensors, allowing you to detect the emotions of the folks nearby through an emotion chart with a visual timeline.Empathy uses movable keys, a translucent tactile keyboard and a flexible OLED display, plus a HUD (heads up display). The keypad on this phone can change color according to the user's emotions, that are sensed through messages, phones calls and biometric sensors. Does this new take on social networking scare you, or do you find the concept appealing?

 

The concept of Social networking through portable devices is already popular among the masses, but the biometric technology will just take it to another level. Fwd: Funny USB Memory-Innovative concept

This transparent USB memory stick covers all the convenient functions of the memory sticks I've introduced so far. The light inside the glass represents the data saved in it: No lights means no data, lights filling the glass means there's no more space. The kind of data is recognized with colors. For example pink is for images, blue is for documents and green for movies, etc. It would be more fun if the lights can move in the glass when you shake it.

Portable Power Generator future

'Cyclus' is one of the solution for the power generating without further environmental impact within everyday circumstance. In nowadays, it is really hard to survive without any electrical devices where especially urbanised society. Obviously power supplying issue is one of the fundamental problem to sustain current life cycle, and it can't be split to consider for further sophisticated user experience. in reality there are some kind of archetype which already exists in the current market, for instance solar panel. However these early type of solution also requires certain user effort (eg, finding a location where appropriate to generate power.). Additionally in the meantime the device generates power, user cant move the place.

It certainly doesn't fit to user demand, so 'cyclus' has been designed as an alternative solution for these problems. It basically adopts very reliable technology, for instance, main power source is 'spring' and 12V DC motor. So user just twist bottom component of this product, then next 30min cyclus constantly generates power which is enough to drive daily portable devices without further environmental impact.

It's quite apparent that all ladies will have a soft corner for the Accessories MP3 Player. Honestly, how many MP3 players can be as subtle and discreet as this! Fashion statement, jewelry, bling…you name it, and it's there! I adore the little loop earring that goes into the ear as headphones, now only if Cartier or Tiffany can get a whiff of this…

Cheers To Finger Power!

Mind you, this is not a "Green" concept and neither does it claim to be "Eco Friendly". It's just a helpful solution for a tricky situation. The situation being: you running out of juice on your mobile phone. So what do you do? Remove the battery from the back of the phone; give it a few good turns around your index finger and its gathered enough power to last you a conversation or a safe trip to your charger and electric point.

A new company, called Square is turning the credit card processing industry on its ear with an application available at the iTunes store. Available for the iPad, the iPhone and iPod Touch, Square enables you to take credit card payments for, well, just about anything.

Once you register for the free Square app they will send you a card reader that plugs into your mobile device and then, let the swiping begin. With no contracts or monthly fees. Receipts are sent electronically and you can track your sales all in one place. Transaction fees are settled nightly, instead of monthly and it's available for use by anyone that would like to be able to take credit cards, not just businesses.

Increased security breaches, be they in the workplace or at home, are a matter of concern among working professionals as well as residents, which forces them to keep each and everything under lock, turning their pocket into a messy key holder. Providing a solution, Italian designer Chiara Ripalti  has come up with an innovative device named the "U N I C A . K E Y " that lets you access various places, such as the office, home or library, safely with just one small gadget. Easy to use, the device equips a fingerprint scanner to identify the fingerprint of the user before allowing entry to multiple private environments. Wrapped in a customized cover, the U N I C A . K E Y also includes a LED light that glows to mark a legal entry.
